Jacey rolling over

Okay, Jacey started rolling over at 3 1/2 months.  It took me about a week to actually catch her on video, but here she is!!
Although I am very happy and proud of her for all the effort she puts into rolling over, now she HATES her car seat.  She also won't stay still on the floor.  The second she's laid down on her back she wants to, and does, roll over to her stomach.  She's only happy for a few minutes on her stomach so I need to be near by to flip her back on her back.
Oh the joys of parenthood!  :)  It actually is amazing and I wouldn't change a thing!!
Great job Jacey!  Soon you'll be walking--after you sit up, then start crawling...

This is how the Koch family currently travels; we call it "virtual-travel".

Happy Birthday ELI!!!

Jacksonville Zoo

For Eli's 2nd birthday we all went to the Jacksonville zoo.  Oh boy did we have some fun.  Here's a slideshow of pictures.  I'm more into taking pictures of my kids and not the animals but trust me, we are actually at the zoo.

Friends and Playgrounds

Jacey, look at the camera and smile!!

Good girl!

Ty, Keely, and Eli in the jumpy house.  It was tough getting them inside to eat dinner.

Macey sat this one out.  Smart girl.

Macey and Keely testing Ty and Eli's chairs.  Yup, they fit.

Macey finally got enough courage to give the jumping a try.  What fun!!

The boys had to go to Dolphin Head and shovel.  Look out Eli, Ty has a shovel!

Jacey is enjoying the beautiful morning at Dolphin Head.

She's about to doze off.

Hey Eli.

Eli is going down the slide and Ty is going up.

Ty was using sand as a counter weight on the teeter totter.

Eli is helping.

Here's Clarke taking a picture of me taking a picture of him.

Jacey and Mommy.  She's growing so darn fast.

Love the hat!
I Love Jesus!!
I love Eli and he loves that sandwich!  It's hard to clap with peanut butter on your hands.

Family Walk

Here's Eli testing his Uncle Clarke's motorcycle.

Out cute little Jacey with her baby doll.  Compare this picture with the one below.

She's smiling!!

We were having dinner at Market Street and Eli wanted to try a lemon (he's done this before with the same results).  He did eventually eat the lemon.

We went on a walk this evening and Ty pulled his brother, Eli, the entire mile circle in the red wagon.  I'm very impressed with his strength and determination.  He had a fun time pulling the wagon and wouldn't let anyone help him.

Ty was calling on Jesus to give him strength to continue pulling that wagon around the circle.  He said Jesus was in the clouds and here he is talking to him.

Boys

While I was pregnant with Jacey, and even now, Jeremy would take the boys for a few hours after dinner so I could get a few quiet minutes alone to rest, read, or just watch TV.  A few of their favorite spots where Harbour Town to see big boats and eat ice cream, Lawton Stables to feed the animals, South Beach to fish and play in the water, Shannon Tanner at Shelter Cove, Dolphin Head Rec area and Pine Island, and fishing here in the Plantation.  Here are a few photos from their outings.  I think Jeremy started a tradition with the boys that's going to be hard to break.  Let's hope it doesn't.  They are spending great quality fun time together.

Welcome Jacey

Hello Jacey!!
After waiting 40 weeks and 4 days, we finally got to meet Jacey.  8 lbs 15 oz and 20 1/2 inches long.  August 1st is her birthday.  She came at 9:15am and I'm so glad she's here.

Here I am getting to hold her for the second time.  This time she's been cleaned up and is very alert.

Here's Jacey under the warmer getting all cleaned up.
Eli is hanging out with his new sister.

Ty is completely intrigued with his sister.  He's always wanting to know where she is and what she's doing.
Ty kissing Jacey on the head. How sweet!!  He's also very gentle with her.  He likes to pet her head.  I can't blame him; she has the softest hair.
Jacey is such a sweet little girl.  She doesn't do much fussing; she's a great eater, and so far, a great sleeper.  We all are really enjoying our time with her.
