July 4th Week

This month Ty turns two (on the 12th) and Eli will be 8 months old (on the 8th). Ty, or course, is as active as ever, and Eli is trying his hardest to catch up to him. Eli is crawling (beyond the safety of our padded family room floor) and pulling up. Soon he will discover his feet actually move; that's when the fun begins!! Here are a few pictures we've taken so far this month. More will come as a trip to the zoo is planned for Ty's birthday.

We celebrated the 4th of July by sitting waterfront on Skull Creek. Our dear friends, the Kilgus', let us hang out in the villa and borrow their beach chairs for the big night. We had special parking and the best view! Perfect weather and a nice breeze kept the bugs away so we all enjoyed the 15 minute fireworks show. Ty sat on my lap staring at the sky in amazement. I can't wait until next year when both boys will appreciate the show.

Ty loves venturing outside the house to see new people. One of his favorite places is Church nursery. On this day, however, he didn't feel like sitting with all the girls. I'm sure one day this will change.
